The spirit empowers the signal. The Spirit pillars are Energy, Nature and Transformation: the non-physical source from which everything manifests.
When we are born, the world is a sea of vibration and colour; as the brain develops, it learns to organise those vibrations into coherent things we can name. There’s an often-told story of islanders who could not see approaching ships because they had no concept of them. Whether or not it happened quite like that, it captures something real: we perceive what we already have a framework for. Anything we create in the physical first exists as a thought, which is why so much healing has to happen at this level, where patterns are first formed. Shamanic principles and tools work here.
E · Energy
Subtle energy flows that animate life and consciousness: frequency, vibration and spirit.
The science. Bioelectricity runs through every cell, nerve and heartbeat. Quantum physics describes a world of energy and probability; the Framework uses its principles as a lens for understanding how intention and attention shape experience.
The spirit. Shamanic practices, journeying, and soul and power retrieval work with the unseen forces that shape experience and healing. Drumming, like a mother’s heartbeat heard in the womb, carries us there. Supporting someone else at this level means briefly sharing your energy, so it matters to keep your own energy stable and to know how to replenish it.
Try this. Sit quietly and scan your body from head to toe, noticing where you feel warmth, tingling, heaviness or ease. Set a simple intention for that energy.
Practices in the sessions: shamanic journeying, soul and power retrieval, spirit council and ancestral connection, the Four Square Method, Reiki, chakra balancing.
N · Nature
Connection to the environment, its cycles and its elemental forces.
The science. Time in nature is linked with lower stress, steadier circadian rhythms and better immune function, and phytochemistry shows how plants affect body and mind.
The spirit. Nature is sacred and mirrors cosmic patterns. We are not separate from it: we are nature. Aligning with the seasons, the moon and the five elements (earth, water, fire, air and ether) restores balance.
Try this. Step outside, even briefly, and notice five things in the natural world around you: the light, the air, a plant, a sound, the ground beneath your feet.
Practices in the sessions: herbal walks, garden meditation, plant medicine rituals, eco-rituals, seasonal alignment and lunar awareness.
T · Transformation
The integration of all the elements: personal evolution, healing and self-mastery.
The science. Lasting change needs the body’s systems to work together. Epigenetics shows that environment and behaviour influence how our genes are expressed.
The spirit. Transformation is alchemical: a conscious shift from old patterns into wholeness, purpose and alignment with your highest potential. This is where true metamorphosis happens.
Try this. At the end of the day, write down one thing you are ready to release and one thing you are ready to welcome. Read both aloud.
Practices in the sessions: rituals of intention and reflection, magik and spellwork, release and extraction work, integration journaling, creating your personal action plan.
